How DogMine digs.

Short version: every Dogecoin minute pays a fixed amount of DMINE, split by hashpower. Everything below is the long version, with the exact numbers.

Overview

DogMine is time-based mining on top of Dogecoin. There is no proof-of-work race: hashpower only decides how each epoch's reward is shared.

Ledger first

DMINE is a ledger balance until it is issued on Dogecoin. Balances are public, audited every epoch and committed to a Merkle root you can verify on /proof.

The SHA-256 of the exact protocol JSON. Anyone can re-hash it in the browser. This is the SHA-256 of JSON.stringify(protocolSpec()), the exact object the settlement runs on (1,349 bytes). Change any rule and this hash changes.

Epochs & settlement

Epoch e covers one minute from genesis. It is settled exactly once, from a snapshot taken at its last instant.

Every hashpower source (session, card, pass, trick) is a time interval, so any snapshot can be rebuilt. If the server is down, missed epochs replay in order with exact results.
Each rig's weight is divided by the network's total weight. Payouts are integer-exact and floored: rounding dust is never lost.
No rig takes more than 10% of an epoch's pot. Anything above it, plus dust and any epoch with nobody mining, carries into the next epoch, where everyone shares it.

The share is 4.2 kH ÷ sessions, clamped between 1 H and 42 H. Renew in the last 6 h of a session (or within 1 h after it ends) to keep your streak: +3% per day, up to +30%.

Proof of Paw

Starting a session needs one scrypt share with Dogecoin's parameters (N=1024, r=1, p=1). A phone digs it in a few seconds; a bot farm pays for every rig.

k hit its floor of 1/50: one paid H counts for at most 50 free H, so free miners keep more than ⅓.

If free hashpower is larger than half the paid hashpower, every free H is scaled down so the free side gets exactly ⅓. But the scale never drops below 1/50: one paid H never counts for more than 50 free H. Early on, when paid hashpower is tiny, that stops one cheap card from taking ⅔ of every epoch.

Bigger cards give somewhat more H-days per DOGE (5 → 12), a gentle ladder on purpose. MARS costs exactly one Dogecoin block reward.

Early numbers cost least: Ð42.00 for the first 100, then +Ð4.20 every 100, up to Ð214.20. Ordering reserves a number for 30 min. Passes are a ledger item at launch and are planned to become on-chain collectibles on Dogecoin later.

Pack

Invite friends with your code. Each friend with an active session adds 3 H to your rig (up to 30).

You also earn a 5% commission on what your friends dig. It comes out of the same epoch pot (it isn't printed on top), so emission never exceeds the schedule. Friends who mine with just an address count once they verify it.

Tricks

Learn and earn: short questions with one defensible answer. Each correct answer adds 5 H for 24 h.

Up to 10 correct answers a day.
Answers faster than 1.5 s don't count.
3 misses in a row pause tricks for 10 min.

Early Dogecoin halved its reward every 100,000 blocks. DMINE halves every 100,000 epochs.
Since block 600,000, Dogecoin pays 10,000 DOGE per block. DMINE's tail pays 10,000 per epoch.
Dogecoin planned about 100 billion coins and dropped the cap in February 2014. DMINE keeps it: exactly 100,000,000,000.

The schedule runs about 525 days. Half of all DMINE is mined in era 1.

SI advisor

SI (super intelligence) ranks your next best move by extra DMINE per day.

It is deterministic and runs in your browser. Each move is scored as your rate after it minus your rate now, with the network enlarged by the same hashpower, the free scale recomputed and the 10% rig cap applied. Free moves come first, then paid ones by DMINE per DOGE. It also warns you before a streak breaks and before halvings.

Never share your seed phrase

DogMine will never ask for your seed phrase or private key, and never DMs first. Official links: this site and @dogminesi on X.

Payments

Cards and passes are paid in DOGE straight from your wallet to the public treasury.

It pays the treasury at least the order amount.
One of its inputs is your signed-in address (so nobody can claim someone else's payment).
It was made after the order was created, and each transaction counts once.
It has 1 Dogecoin confirmation (3 for Ð4,200 and up). Then the card or pass is credited automatically.

DOGE payments are final. The only refund case: if the last Genesis Passes sell out while your payment is confirming.

Ledger & proof

Don't trust, verify.

The supply audit holds every epoch: sum of balances = sum distributed and distributed + carry = emitted ≤ 100B.
A Merkle root over every balance is published on /proof. Leaf = sha256("dmine:leaf:" + address + ":" + units), node = sha256(0x01 ‖ left ‖ right), leaves sorted by address.
The root is anchored on Dogecoin as an OP_RETURN "DMINE" + epoch + root, so the ledger can't be quietly rewritten.

On-chain plan

DMINE will be issued on Dogecoin.

The token standard and the date will be announced before issuance. Ledger balances redeem 1:1 to your verified Dogecoin address. To claim, you prove the address is yours by signing with its key, so mine to an address you control, never an exchange deposit address.

Security

Sessions are signed HttpOnly cookies. Every change requires a same-origin request.
Signing in is a free message signature: no transaction, no approval, no spending rights.
Proof of Paw, rate limits and an anti-farm balance gate keep bots expensive. Farms can be flagged; flagged rigs earn nothing.

DMINE has no guaranteed value. It is a ledger balance until issued on Dogecoin.
Your share depends on everyone else's hashpower. Estimates move as miners join.
Payment checks rely on public Dogecoin indexers. If they are slow, credits wait.

FAQ

Is mining free?

Yes. A 24 h session costs nothing. Cards and the pass are optional.

Why is my free hashpower scaled?

When free hashpower is more than half of paid hashpower, the free side shares a third of each epoch.

What happens at a halving?

The reward per epoch halves every 100,000 epochs. Your share stays the same; the pot gets smaller.

Can I lose DOGE?

DOGE you pay for cards or passes is spent. Free mining moves no DOGE at all.

When can I trade DMINE?

After it is issued on Dogecoin. Watch @dogminesi for the date.
